Course Objective: To study the ideologies, needs, purposes, and implications of form and function as it relates to visual communications. In this course students study visual principles, languages and problem solving techniques. This course is dedicated to understanding theories and concepts of communication design, such as typography, visualizations, and semiotic systems. Course empasizes visual language and form building.
