For your blog you may want to write a "Personal Statement." This is different than your mission statement as it is longer than a one-two line statement. But both must relate to one another. The mission statement should be quick and succinct helping to guide decisions in your life. The Personal Statement can go into more depth and can benefit job interviews or professional correspondence such as job applications.
