My first impressions of Seattle are many. The ways, the buildings, the plants, and everything are different from Japan. My city, Kamakura is an old city. There are many old buildings and narrow paths. So, it is difficult for cars to pass each other at some places. But there are many wide ways and buildings in Seattle. My city’s buildings are old, small, and Japanese-style. Seattle’s buildings are modern, big, and western-style. There are many people who come from other countries in America. When I was in Japan, I met few foreigners. But in Seattle, people think it is ordinary. I think it is important for everyone to become more international.
