Late policy

Assignments are due in class at the beginning of class on the date they are due. Any work that is not turned in at the beginning of class on the due date must be accompanied by a Homework Cover Sheet. Work turned in outside of class or late that does not have a Homework Cover Sheet attached will be penalized an additional ten percent.

Work turned in late will be penalized as follows:

Late on day due (after class on Wednesday) 10% penalty
One day late (before OMH closing Thursday) 20% penalty
Two days late (before OMH closing Friday) 40% penalty
Three or more days late No credit unless approved by instructor

Exceptions may be granted in special circumstances (such as illness) at the discretion of the instructor. To request an exception, explain on the Homework Cover Sheet.

Whenever work is turned in at any time or place other than in class, on the due date, it must include a Homework Cover Sheet.

Plagiarism, Copying, and other Forms of Cheating

All work is to be your or your group's own work. Evidence of work copied from someone else will result in a negative 100% on the assignment. Repeat violations will result in failure of the course. It is appropriate to discuss project requirements and methods of solution with others, but it is wrong to copy any or all of somebody else's work.

All reports must include proper citations to all sources used.

Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities should contact Disabled Student Services in the Center for Learning to request academic accommodations. Disabled Student Services sends Disability Verification Letters out to all your professors indicating the appropriate accommodations for the classroom based on your disability.
