Rewriting Vocation Papers

Home Schedule Policies Resources Design Notebooks

Your vocation papers have been graded according to how well they are written. You are given the opportunity to rewrite the papers to improve them. The rewritten papers will be graded and the two scores averaged.

bulletTurn in both your original paper (with comments) and the rewritten paper.
bulletMost papers will have some grammatical errors marked - correcting these is just the first step. You will also want to address content issues.
bulletIf significant improvements are needed, please visit the writing center (with your paper in hand) to get some assistance in improving your paper.
bulletHave a friend proofread your paper to identify additional grammatical errors and other areas you can work on.
bulletA good rewrite will address more than just the comments from the instructor. During the rewrite process, you should look for other ways to improve your paper as well.
