Presenters - Two team members will present. Those who did not present in the quarter's first presentation will present in the second one. If your team has only three members, the person who presents in both presentations will have their higher grade count.
Time - Each team should take around 12 minutes to present. There is a firm maximum of 15 minutes. This should be equally divided amongst the two or three people presenting.
Appearance - Please dress in a way that presents a professional image. It is not necessary to "dress up" (ties/suits/dresses are not necessary), but avoid looking sloppy.
Status - Explain where you are in the design process. What major breakthroughs occurred? What things fell apart? What's ahead/on/behind schedule? Are there any looming risks ahead?
Mechanical Design - Show and explain diagrams of the exterior and interior of your box. Explain why you chose the enclosure you did. Show how your PCB will fit in the box, including where major components will be placed on the PCB.
Main Software Functions - Describe the main software functions for your project. This includes those that you’ve already written, and those that you are currently writing
Each individual will be critiqued on the following characteristics:
Content - Each individual should contribute a significant and meaningful portion of the content.
Time - Each individual should speak for an appropriate amount of time. For three people, this is around five minutes, for two people, this is seven or eight minutes.
Visual Aides - You are expected to have quality visual aides to accompany your presentation. You do not have to use PowerPoint - you may use other techniques.
Speaking - You should speak clearly and communicate
effectively to the audience.
