In this design review, your initial hardware design will be reviewed. Your schematic design will be critiqued for completeness and proper design. Your part selection will be critiqued for appropriate selection and identification of alternative parts.
Your team should have turned in the following documents by 11:00 AM on the day of the review:
Parts list/cost estimate
Schematic (if applicable)
Draft Mechanical Systems (if applicable)
Draft UI and Technical Interface documents
Updated schedule - email to instructor
All team members must be present at all design reviews. Students with unexcused absences from design reviews will receive a zero grade for the design review.
Each member should be generally familiar with all parts selected and all portions of the schematic. Each member should be intimately familiar with at least one subsection of the design (i.e. power supply or A/D front end). The reviewers will ask each team member detailed questions about the area(s) of their responsibility.
Grading will reflect how well the team has prepared the initial hardware design.
