This document will describe all of the parts that are needed for your prototype project. Electronic parts require precise part numbers, suppliers, alternate suppliers, prices, and alternative parts. Mechanical and custom parts require varying degrees of precision depending on how they are produced/procured. This information will be used to determine a budget for your project.

Please see the sample parts list/cost estimate for a template. Your parts list should contain, at a minimum, all of the information identified in the template where applicable.

Please review the project funding requirements under course policies, paying special attention to the requirements for a budget.
