Final Exam Format

The final exam will be in two parts:

A problem section. You will be allowed to use your textbook, copies of slides, notes, and returned material from the class.
A short answer/multiple choice section. You will not be allowed any reference materials. Student-made websites will not be covered in the final exam.

The final exam will be administered as follows.

	All students will be given the problem section and allowed to work on it during the two hour time allotted for the exam.
	When a student wishes to take the short answer section, he/she will put away all references and ask the instructor for the short answer section. The student may work on either section as long as all reference materials are put away.
	After completing the short answer section, the student may turn it in and resume working on the problem section while using all reference materials. The student may not retrieve the short answer section once it has been turned in.
	When the problem section is complete, the student will turn it in to complete the exam.

The following practice exam is provided for your assistance. The actual exam may be significantly different in length.
